Welcome to Château Goudichaud
Our property is located in the heart of the Graves de Vayres appellation, a small enclave of gravelly land in the towns of Vayres and Arveyres.
Located on the right bank of the Garonne and mendering around the left bank of the Dordogne.
It is one of the 3 oldest appellations in Bordeaux, approved by the INAO in 1938 along with Pauillac and Pomerol. This appellation is also one of the smallest Bordeaux AOCs with its 700 hectares and less than thirty producers. A confidential appellation giving rise to attractive and complex wines.
Belonging to the Glotin family since 1930, the estate is today one of the reference properties of the appellation.

Since the beginning of the 20th century, three generations have succeeded one another at the head of the estate. First Henriette,
one of the first women winegrowers in the region, she led the estate with passion for 40 years. Then
Paul developed the exploitation to return it to its original surface fragmented over the centuries. Today,
Yves manages the property in the same spirit of respect for traditions and development.
